Job Description

  1. Work under the supervision of Senior Attorney in the preparation of family and business immigration petitions and applications.
  2. Perform legal research.
  3. Prepare motions, waivers, memoranda of law, and applications for relief from removal.
  4. Appear before the Immigration Court with clients.
  5. Prepare appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals.
  6. Engage in direct client contact upon consultation with the senior attorney to answer questions and to develop their cases.

Education & Experience

  1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or Master of Laws (LL.M).
  2. Admission to a U.S. state bar.
  3. At least 2 years of work experience as a practicing lawyer.
